This formula has been discontinued by the manufacturer and has been reformulated in 2016. The new formulation is still available under the same name.
On July 16, 2014, Health Canada recalled this product because it has been found to contain sibutramine (Meridia), an unsafe drug previously prescribed for weight loss, phenolphthalein, a potentially dangerous laxative, glibenclamide, a diabetes drug also known as glyburide (Diabeta, Glynase, Micronase), and also the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs diclofenac ibuprofen, and indomethacin (25439). Advise patients not to take this product.
