Natural Standard's featured CE/CME for the month of April is Sweet basil: Safety & Effectiveness.
Sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum) is a commonly used spice. The constituent estragole is naturally found in sweet basil and is used in fragrances and flavorings. Laboratory studies have investigated sweet basil for its antiviral, anticancer and antibacterial effects. However, currently, there is not enough evidence in humans to support the use of sweet basil for any indication.
Natural Standard offers CE/CME modules for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Students and other users may take courses for training purposes without generating credit certificates. Continuing Education requirements differ based on discipline, license and location. If you are unsure of your specific needs, please contact your local agency.
