New Supplement Legislation in the Works

A new dietary supplement bill has been introduced in the Senate. It would require manufacturers to provide more product and label data upfront, but some question whether it would actually improve quality and transparency in the industry. The FDA is also taking steps to increase NDI filings, claiming that many manufacturers are selling products without approved NDIs.
