New Monograph: Hordenine

Hordenine is a constituent naturally found in barley (Hordeum vulgare). It is similar in chemical structure to stimulants found in bitter orange. Some research shows that it might stimulate the central nervous system, and increase heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate.
